Condition : Elderly dog with compound fracture of right hind leg Sex : Female Treatment start date : 25/05/2022 Treatment end date : 01/08/2022 Mentor : Few local people Details : This dog had an accident when a heavy car ran over one of it's legs. After receiving guidance from the vets of Barasat govt vet polyclinic, regular dressing, injections and oral medicines were given to cure the wound completely. Final condition : Wound and infection completely cured. Dog cannot use leg as there are multiple fractures and the bone was not set properly.

Condition : Abandoned dog with broken front left leg Sex : Female Treatment start date : 18/02/2022 Treatment end date : 08/04/2022 Final condition : Dog living in my home since being rescued Mentor : Self Details : A friend noticed this dog roaming aimlessly in his locality on 17/02/2022 night. The dog was not local and was getting attacked by local dogs. I went to his house in the morning of 18/02/2022 and found that the dog had a broken front limb, and numerous other small bites and bruises. Brought the dog to my home and cured it, and it is staying in my home ever since. Day of pickup: Splint applied Splint removed and after that sterilized at PAWS shelter Fully fit now

Condition : Massive injury in right hind paw Sex : Female Treatment start date : 19/12/2020 Treatment end date : 14/02/2021 Final condition : Dog got fully fit and resumed normal life. However, dog died on 23/10/2022 from train accident. Mentor : Soma Saha Details : Mentor noticed this dog in her locality on 17/12/2020 hiding in injured state. I started spot treatment on 19/12/2020. After appx 80% healing, dog was transferred to PAWS NGO for sterilization and final treatment. Dog was 100% fit and was released from PAWS soon after that.

We have been collecting funds via Facebook, primarily for sterilizing a few dogs in areas where there is an overpopulation of dogs, causing resentment among general public.  Also, sterilization would ensure no new dogs to feed, a general improvement in health, and lesser territorial/mating fights.  Below are the cash in and out details.  To protect the privacy of donors, we have only mentioned the first name. Mentor : Sharmila Banerjee Details : Chottu was not doing well, and went missing a few days back. After extensive searching she was found lying down in a narrow alley beside a house. She has not eaten for days and has been exposed to non stop rainfall over the past 24 hrs.
